Arrow Rock State Historic Site will be hosting a Halloween Spooktacular event on Oct. 28 from 4-7 p.m.
Activities will include but not be limited to:
- A campsite decorating contest with prizes for the best decorated
- Judging starts at 6:30 p.m.
- Winners announced at 6:45 p.m.
- Halloween crafts and games (including face painting), 4-6 p.m.
- Trick-or-treating through the campground, 5-7 p.m.
- A pet costume contest with prizes, 6 p.m.
- Tram rides, 4-7 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. Complementary hot dogs, chips and water will be available. All of the above activities will take place in the campground.
Prior to the Halloween Spooktacular, the J. Huston Tavern will be hosting a pumpkin carving and decorating contest. Pumpkins will be available for $5 apiece starting at 2 p.m. Judging will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the tavern. Prizes will be awarded.
