Due to a managed deer hunt at the park, special-use camping will not be available at Ha Ha Tonka State Park Nov. 1, 2 or 3, 2024, and reservations for any of these dates will not be accepted.
The special-use camping area is designated for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups having priority. It is divided into three separate camping areas, each with a fire ring, a covered cook table, and three to four picnic tables. Camping area A1 is designated for campers with disabilities. The area has a gravel parking area and a vault toilet. No water is available in these camping areas; however, water is available at other locations in the park. There is no electricity available in the camping area, and there is a pit toilet centrally located in the camping area.
The fee for use of the area is $2 per person, per night. To reserve an area for your group, call 573-346-2986.
Note: Park only in the parking area. North of the camping area is private property – please do not cross the fence and trespass on our neighbor.
