COVID-19 Temporary Hours

As of Thursday, April 1, concessionaire operations at Thunderbird Lodge will open Friday, Saturday and Sunday through mid-May, when hours will expand to seven days a week. Pool operations will open May 29. Lodging, float trips, watercraft rental and retail by Missouri Park Adventures will continue following all social-distancing guidelines. Face coverings are encouraged and may be required by local order.See https://www.missouriparkadventures.com/ for more information.

Park Grounds:

  • 7 a.m. to sunset, year-round.
  • November through March
    The roads to Shelter #1/CCC Ridge, the swimming pool, cabins and the Big River Day-Use Area (including Shelter #2/Big River Day-Use Area Shelter) are closed to vehicles. They are open to foot traffic.

April through October

  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Closed Saturday and Sunday

November through March

  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Closed Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and state holidays
