The visitor center is located down Moccasin Springs Road just past the park's main entrance. The center offers exhibits on both the Cherokee’s forced removal and information on the natural history within the park. Staff is available to answer questions and provide information on aspects of the cultural and natural history of the park as well as offer advice and information for hiking, fishing, camping and boating. There is also a 23-minute documentary film, “Trail of Tears,” produced by the National Park Service that is available to be played on demand.
