Stop by the store for a large variety of goods, including bread, soda pop, beer, ice cream, milk, ice and snacks. For camping and fishing supplies, the store has tent stakes, sleeping bags, firewood, fold-out chairs, and fishing tackle and line. The souvenir section has been expanded with a larger selection of T-shirts, hats, blankets, candles, jewelry and many more unique items. There are also many new fun toys for kids. Because the Meramec River flows through the park, the store offers a variety of swim and float gear from snorkels and water shoes to squirt guns and inner tubes.
The grill is a quiet little area within the Fireside Store where you can stop in to have a quick bite or take it to go. The grill offers cheeseburgers, barbecue sandwiches, chicken sandwiches and more, with economical prices.
