The special-use camping area is available for use by non-profit organizations. It is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Organized youth groups (Scouts, 4-H, church, etc.) have priority.

To reserve the special use area, call the park office at 636-528-7247. The park will need the name of the organization, (Scouts, church group, etc.), how many people, the name of the person calling, and a call back number. The special-use area will hold 120 people; groups are combined when possible, especially if there are multiple Scout groups.
