Butterflies of Bennett

The fall migration of butterflies begins in September and continues into early November. From Sept. 27-30, you are invited to join the park naturalist in the nature center for a PowerPoint presentation on the butterflies of Bennett Spring State Park.

The naturalist will guide attendees through the life cycles of butterflies and explain the differences between the many butterfly species in the park. Discussion topics will also include generalist versus specialist butterflies, host plants, and butterfly research and surveys in Missouri. So, come learn all about butterflies and how to identify them just in time for the fall migration!

This program is open to the general public; registration is not necessary.
