Roaring River State Park is hosting Charlie 22 Outdoors for Operation Roaring River from Oct. 1-4, 2023.
The mission of Charlie 22 Outdoors is to “provide outdoor activities to our nation’s veterans with the goal of showing them there is hope, love, and a personal meaning in God’s grace.” Charlie 22 will present a number of different activities for veterans with disabilities to participate in. Activities will include fly fishing, bluegrass music, arts and crafts, nature hikes, and much more.
Applications are due Aug. 31, 2023. Apply online at charlie22outdoors.com. Volunteer fishing guides are needed.
