The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
Representatives from Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about that site as well as Locust Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site. The public is invited to share comments about the sites and their operations.
The open-house-style informational meeting will be followed by a Pershing Memorial Association meeting.
Both meetings will take place at the Pershing Memorial Museum and Leadership Building, located on the 900 block of Ausmus Street in Laclede. If you are using a GPS, you can find the building by using the 900 Ausmus St. address.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create a two-way communication. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
