Historical Haunts at the Homestead

10/29/2022 | Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site | Ash Grove, MO

Come out for the annual Historical Haunts on the Homestead event on Saturday, Oct. 29. Take part in our first ever virtual dog costume contest, and then head out to the homestead for some competitive scarecrow building, a Halloween safety program for kids, and a night of storytelling.

To start off the storytelling, Boone Homestead favorite Todd Wilkinson will be sharing his stories from Vance Randolph. He will be followed by Mike and Nancee Micham, the couple known as EznDil. This duo has been entertaining through song and stories, humor, and education for over 25 years in the Ozarks region, and has been featured at national and state parks, libraries, schools, renaissance fairs, and roots music celebrations. EznDil's love of folk songs and tales, dad jokes, Irish traditional music, and legends continues to grow. They love to share their gift of laughter and song with kids and kids in adult clothing!

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the site at 417-751-3266.
