Statehood Day

8/10/2022 | First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site | St. Charles, MO

Join us at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site to commemorate the 201st birthday of our great state! The historic First Capitol building will be open for walk-through, self-guided tours, and activities will be taking place in the backyard!

Come out and watch historical demonstrations by local reenactors! There will be booths with information about recent projects at the site, including, but not limited to, our new sidewalk as well as the April 10 fire recovery effort. Information will also be available about school and group tours and programs, and how we can cater to your classroom's curriculum. Following these activities, stick around for a free outdoor concert starting at 7 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site at 636-940-3322.
