Noticing Nature: A Nature Journaling Series

9/10/2022 | Weston Bend State Park | Weston, MO

Weston Bend State Park presents Noticing Nature, a Nature Journaling Series.

It's the little things that matter most! Join Park Specialist, and art enthusiast, Annie in this summer program series. We will dare to explore the little things in nature. Crack open that untouched pristine sketchbook and start exploring. This ongoing series will focus on answering your art and nature questions. We will talk about different art techniques and materials. Each meeting will have a specific exercise or topic to help you begin noticing nature in a meaningful and mindful way. Let’s start getting curious and expressing creatively.

Bring your art supplies, if you have some. If you don't know what to bring or don't have any supplies, no problem! We will have some supplies available for use and will answer any questions on how to get started.

Weather permitting, these programs will be held every Saturday from July 23 to Sept. 10. In the event of rain, the day’s program will be canceled. Each program will take place in the day-use area by the four-way stop.

If you have any questions, call the park office at 816-640-5443.
