7/29/2022 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

Have you ever gazed upon the night skies and wondered what exactly you were seeing? Are all of those glistening objects stars, planets or something else? Join us for an evening of stargazing (weather permitting). We will tour the night skies by viewing them through a telescope. There will be a new moon, which allows the best opportunity to view more distant and faint objects. With any luck, we will be able to view the Delta Aquarids meteor shower as well.

The program will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the Post Office Shelter. To get to the Post Office Shelter from Highway 54, turn onto state Road D and continue approximately 2.3 miles. The Post Office Shelter will be on your left.

Event Time: 9:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
