Wild Edibles Scavenger Hunt

The St. Francois Mountains are coming alive with vibrant color and beauty. Awake to spring by taking a leisurely stroll along the popular Shut-Ins Trail and search for wild edibles along the way. This activity is the perfect way to learn about Missouri's native flora while staying safe and having a blast while doing it! So, gather up your family and friends and head out for this adventure!

The Wild Edibles Scavenger Hunt will be available in May and can be picked up at the visitor center during open hours. Please do not pick the plants or wander off the trail. The Shut-Ins Trail trailhead is located near the park store.
