Fall on the Farm

10/2/2021 | Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site | Lawson, MO

Join our costumed interpreters as they demonstrate rural life of the 1870s. Special activities will include sheep shearing, corn shelling, cider pressing, gardening, blacksmithing, woodstove cooking, seed saving, toy making, children’s games and more.

Tours of the woolen mill will be available for a fee. The Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and Franklin School will be open. There will be no admission charge for the event, so come join us for some fall fun! For more information, please contact the site office at 816-580-3387.
