Mother's Day Wild Tea Party

Come enjoy the bounty of spring during the Mother's Day “Wild Tea” Party at Roaring River State Park. Guests will get to enjoy warm herbal teas, cool beverages and light finger foods made from wild plants native to our state. The woods are full of delicious and nutritious roots, flowers and greens. We will discuss how the people of the Ozarks have used these wild edible plants to feed their families and heal their sick.

This program will begin at 11 a.m. at the CCC Shelter, located in the picnic area off of Highway F. It is free and open to the public. Dress appropriately for the weather. Please register for this program by calling the nature center. This program will have a maximum number of participants due to social distancing.
