Missouri Tree Identification

9/6/2020 | Lake of the Ozarks State Park | Brumley, MO

From the steep, rocky slopes of a creek to the leaf-littered plateau of a forest, trees grow all around us here in the Ozarks. Some trees have watched us grow for years, even decades, right in our own backyards! The trees know our way of life, but would you be willing to go out on a limb and learn about theirs? Join us at the campground amphitheater for a quick introduction, followed by a hands-on activity in which participants will identify common Missouri trees on a nearby trail.

This program is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the park office at 573-348-2696. Social distancing protocols will be implemented, and we will provide masks and hand sanitizer to those who do not bring their own.

Program Time: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
