6/6/2020 | Katy Trail State Park
Celebrate National Trails Day on June 6, 2020 by participating in a guided bike ride on the Katy Trail.
Participants will meet park staff at 10 a.m. at the Windsor trailhead, located at mile marker 248 (38° 32' 9.1788" N, 93° 31' 28.8012" W) in Windsor. Please note that each person participating in this event is required to wear a bicycle helmet and bring their own bicycle. Bicycles will not be provided for this event. Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen and personal drinking water are highly suggested.
Before the guided bike ride, Missouri State Parks rangers will present basic bicycle safety. Following this information, the ride will be guided by a park naturalist. The distance covered on the ride will be determined by those participating in the out-and-back ride, but the total program is expected to last about two hours.
