It is almost back to school time! Join the naturalist to enjoy an evening summer stroll along the Old Schoolhouse Trail. The trail is an easy 3-mile loop through an area of the park that was once home to a one-room schoolhouse called Hill School. Hikers will learn more about the area's history, including the Civilian Conservation Corps camp that was nearby.
Participants should dress for the weather, bring plenty of water, and wear sturdy shoes. The naturalist will meet participants at the Lake Shelter parking lot.
