Discover the wild world along the water's edge during this guided discovery hike around Lake Buteo at Knob Noster State Park. This 1-mile hike will circle the lake and last about an hour and a half. Hikers will encounter dirt-surface trail with water crossings, rocks, stone steps and a brief section on the road. This hike is good for all ages. Children and leashed four-legged friends are welcome.
Please dress for the weather, and bring water and a snack. Meet at the Buteo Trailhead by the kayak hut and the Lake Buteo Picnic Shelter at 10 a.m. to begin the hike.
Hike Time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
