Canceled: Keep Baker Beautiful Day

4/25/2020 | Sam A. Baker State Park | Patterson, MO

Out of caution, park and site events and programs sponsored by Missouri State Parks are postponed or canceled now through April 30. We’re closely monitoring the progression of COVID-19 and its effect in Missouri. We’re sorry for any inconvenience; however, your safety is our top priority.

Sam A. Baker State Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the state, and we could use your help in getting it ready for the upcoming visitation season. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Sam A. Baker State Park are proud to present the 28th annual "Keep Baker Beautiful Day," on Saturday, April 25. This special event not only commemorates Earth Day, but is also a great and fun way of connecting to the great outdoors.

There will be assignments for all ages. Mulching, gardening and litter patrol are just a few of the projects planned for the day. A free picnic lunch will be provided. Pre-registering by April 23 is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Call the park naturalist at 573-856-4514 to register or for more information.

Event Time: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
