Volunteer Training Day

Volunteer Training Day – originally scheduled for March 21, 2020 – has been postponed until National Trails Day (June 6, 2020).

Friends of Hawn Association and Hawn State Park staff will hold a Volunteer Training Day on Saturday, June 6 at the picnic shelter in the day-use area between the Whispering Pines Trailhead and the Pickle Creek Trailhead at Hawn State Park. Attendees will learn about Leave No Trace Principles, how to become a trail host or trail steward, the adopt-a-trail program, and how to maintain and build trails.

Event Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
