You have seen Bennett Spring from the surface – the clear, blue-green water, the trout swimming lazily below the surface, and the gentle bubbling of the current. Have you ever wondered what the spring looks like below the surface?
On Sundays in March, you can stop by the nature center for a 1 p.m. showing of a video provided by Aaron Baker of Lebanon. In this film, divers will take you down 80 feet from the surface to the entrance of Bennett Spring and then into the cave system. Venture into this seldom seen underwater world without leaving the comfort of dry ground.
