On April 25, the public is invited to stop by the nature center and talk with naturalist Dan Slais about fossils. A fossil display will be out for viewing beginning at 10 a.m. At 1 p.m., Dan will give an informational presentation, where he will discuss what a fossil is, how fossils form, the different types of fossils, Missouri fossils and much more. Participants will even get to try to be a paleontologist as they learn to interpret a fossil puzzle.
