Photo Walks

3/28/2020 to 10/24/2020 | Bennett Spring State Park | Lebanon, MO

Bennett Spring State Park will hold a photo walk class every month from March through October in 2020. Attendees will receive instruction in capturing the beauty of nature utilizing the natural resources of the park. Using a handheld camera, a large camera or a mobile phone, we will focus on the creative elements of taking beautiful images. This program will be led by Al Griffin and take place at the nature center.

Each session will focus on developing different facets of the photographer’s skills using wildlife and features of the park. Sessions will cover close-up versus macro and natural versus artificial light as well as creative controls of the camera. After an indoor session, the group will go out into the park, along the stream, or onto the wooded trails. An indoor session will follow to discuss and critique the results.

This program is designed for all skill levels from beginner to experienced photographer. The outdoor portions are accessible for mobility devices. For more information about this program, call the nature center at 417-532-3925.
