Canceled: Earth Day 50th Anniversary Volunteer Event

Out of caution, park and site events and programs are suspended until further notice. Missouri State Parks is closely monitoring the progression of COVID-19 and its effect in Missouri. We’re sorry for any inconvenience; however, your safety is our top priority.​

 

In celebration of Earth Day's 50th anniversary, Washington State Park will host a volunteer event on Saturday, April 18. Volunteers will participate in trash cleanup and tree planting. The event will take place at Shelter #2 in the Big River Day-Use Area. 

 

Supplies and snacks will be provided. Please dress accordingly for this outdoor experience. Long pants, sturdy closed-toe boots or shoes, and work gloves are suggested. Groups that would like to attend are encouraged to contact the park office prior to the event.
