2/21/2020 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

The third Friday of each month, the Missouri State Museum will take visitors on a themed tour of the Missouri state Capitol at 3 p.m. These tours will be different from the standard tours given daily at the museum. Themed tours will explore a wide array of topics from in-depth looks at specific artworks to tours exploring the capitol as a product of the resources of Missouri.

The topic for February is "Four Lunettes." It will focus on the background and history of the Battle of Sacramento (1847), Vauquois Heights, riches of the mines and the reclamation of the South.
