Landing After Hours: MO(re) Pulp Fiction

5/6/2020 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Some may think of pulp fiction as gritty detective stories or dime novels. Publishers of pulp fiction actually fostered a wide array of genres from “true” detective stories to science fiction. Missouri authors and artists found fame in the mass produced pages of these low-cost magazines. Join Keenan Patterson as he returns to tell stories of more Missouri pulp fiction authors.

The Missouri State Museum's "Landing After Hours" program is held the first Wednesday of each month at the Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson Street. Doors to the Lohman Building will open at 6 p.m., and the program will start at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.
