Join the search for owls at Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park. During this event, you will get to enjoy a warm summer evening, learn to call for owls and, if you are lucky, see the splendor of owls interacting with each other at night.
Participants should meet at the large shelter house parking lot, where we will proceed to hike a bit throughout the park. Remember to dress appropriately, with comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Do not wear light-up shoes. Participants are strongly encouraged to use insect repellent.
