Seniors to Parks -- "Play till the Cows Come Home"

9/17/2019 | First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site | St. Charles, MO

Remember how much fun summer camp used to be? Do you ever wish you could go back and do it all over? Well, you can with our “Seniors to Parks” program. This program lets you go back and be a kid again, with hands-on activities, classes and historic crafts and skills. Some of the things you may choose to learn about include: frontier herbs, orienteering, flint and steel fire starting, basket weaving, historic toys and games, Dutch oven cooking and more. Grab a friend and come be a pioneer for the day.

All materials will be provided for your day on the frontier, including lunch. This program is a cooperative event with Missouri State Parks Association and Missouri State Parks. It is a free event for adults who are young at heart.

Reservations are needed, and space is limited. To reserve your spot, please call the site at 636-940-3322.
