In conjunction with the Great American Backyard Campout, Mastodon State Historic Site will offer interpretive campfire stories. Come sit under the stars and enjoy a scenic overlook while making s’mores and listening to campfire stores. The event will be held by the Museum Annex. While visitors are encouraged to bring their own camping chairs and blankets, there will be picnic tables available for visitors to sit at.
