Confederate Memorial State Historic Site, in partnership with the Robertson Memorial Library, invites you to join a summer book club for youth.
For more than seven decades, orphaned and homeless children left New York City on trains that took them across the United States in search of new homes and new opportunities. Join us as we embark on an adventure to the past through reading and active discussions about the Orphan Train and how it impacted our community. The Summer Book Club will meet every Tuesday in July.
The book club is recommended for ages nine to 12. Club registration is limited to 20 children. Call the Robertson Memorial Library at 660-584-2880 to register.
