Children of all ages are invited to the historic site for the 1860s Children’s Day. Children will have the opportunity to learn what life was like in the 1860s by participating in common chores and games of the time period. Children will be able to take part in washing clothes with a washboard, dipping candles, churning butter, making rag dolls, walking on stilts and more.
