Enjoy a guided hike around one of Knob Noster State Park's most popular trails, Buteo Trail. This trail circles Lake Buteo and allows visitors to experience a wide range of Missouri's natural plants and animals.
On this 1-mile trail, visitors may experience natural surface, rocks, roots, downed vegetation, physically challenging obstacles, wood or stone steps, bridges and/or structural crossings, water/stream crossings without bridges, occasional water over trail and a brief road crossing.
Visitors will meet at the rental kayaks, near the Buteo Trail trailhead. A restroom and water fountain are available near the picnic shelter. GPS location: 38.74975, -93.58163.
