World Bird Sanctuary Raptor Basics

6/8/2019 | St. Francois State Park | Bonne Terre, MO

Join us at the campground amphitheater for a program by the educators from World Bird Sanctuary! The World Bird Sanctuary's Raptor Basics program features birds of prey including falcons, hawks, owls, vultures and a bald eagle. Come on down to learn some cool facts about why these birds are so special, what you can do to help ensure their survival, and what roles they play in our environment! Sit back and enjoy an up-close view as some of the birds soar right over your head!

This program will take place inside the park’s campground at the amphitheater. Follow the "special event" directional signs when you enter the park. Please do not bring any pets; even leashed dogs will not be allowed into this event. Visitors must be seated during the show.

As always, this program is free and open to the public. For more information about this event, contact the park office at 573-358-2173. Click here to read the news release.
