Celebrate Kids to Parks Day with an afternoon of fishing fun. All skill levels are welcome to fish at any one of several historic ponds in the park. Beginner fisherman or don’t have a fishing pole? No worries. Site staff will help you get started and a limited number of poles will be available for loan.
Site staff will be stationed at Horseshoe Pond, but all visitors are welcome to fish at anytime during regular operating hours. Valid fishing permits are required for people age 16 or older who wish to fish, unless you qualify for an exemption.
This event is free and open to the public.
