Volunteer Meeting

3/21/2019 | Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park | Miami, MO

Throughout the year at Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park, many events and programs take place and volunteers play a crucial role in helping us make our park a welcoming and fun place for every citizen of the state of Missouri and of the entire United States. We have an overwhelming need for organizations and individuals alike to volunteer at the park and leave their mark for current and future generations. Due to this need, we invite the public to this volunteer meeting at Missouri’s American Indian Cultural Center. At this meeting, attendees will learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, they can share their own ideas for events/programs within the park, and can fill out volunteer paperwork to officially become a part of our team. For more information about the volunteer meeting or to learn more about volunteer opportunities, call the park office at 660-886-7537.

RSVPs to this event are encouraged but not required. If you so choose, please send an RSVP to Kaylee.holt@dnr.mo.gov or call the park at 660-886-7537. Refreshments will be provided.
