First Saturday Lecture: Women of the Santa Fe Trail

This month’s lecture topic will be Women of the Santa Fe Trail by Frances Levine, Ph.D. The important, but often overlooked, role of women traveling the Santa Fe Trail will be discussed by Levine. She became the president and CEO of the Missouri Historical Society and Missouri History Museum in the spring of 2014. Prior to that, she was the director of the New Mexico History Museum from 2002 until spring 2014. The lecture is free and open to the public. Click here to read the news release.
