Night Sky

5/4/2019 | Echo Bluff State Park | Eminence, MO

Come out to the park and view the sky from the “sky porch” with the Dent County Astronomers. Learn about how light pollution obstructs our view of the sky in cities and towns around the world and what we can do to keep our skies dark. View the different constellations and the Milky Way, which appears so close that you could just reach up and touch it. For a deeper space view, we will have telescopes set up.

This event is outside so please dress for the weather. Meet at the Bluff Top parking lot.

This event is free and open to public. For more information on all of the park’s programs, contact Connie Weber at 573-751-1224 or Click here to read the news release.

Event times: 9 p.m. - 11 p.m.
