Earth Day Activities

4/27/2019 | Echo Bluff State Park | Eminence, MO

There will be something for everyone at this year’s Earth Day celebration! This year’s theme for Earth Day is "Save Endangered and Threatened Species." Help celebrate Earth Day by getting out in nature and discovering all that it has to offer and what you can do to insure that future generations have the same privilege.

There will be opportunities to help clean the park by participating in the "Clean the Creek Walk" - this is a stream team activity where you can walk or float Sinking Creek through the park and pick up trash and flood debris.  Or, hike a trail and clean as you go.

There will be guided nature hikes, programs about Hellbenders, a poster contest and more.

This event is free and open to public. For more information on all of the park’s programs, contact Connie Weber at 573-751-1224 or connie.weber@dnr.mo.gov. Click here to read the news release.
