Hike the Red, White and Blue!

7/6/2019 | Graham Cave State Park | Danville, MO

In honor of Independence Day, the park is hosting a guided hike on our red, white and blue trails! Join naturalist Lorie Volenberg as she shares with you the cultural history found within the lands of Missouri during the 1700s. Lorie will also talk about the different ecosystems you will be hiking through, such as upland oak and hickory forests, glades and bottomland forests. This hike combines Indian Ridge Trail, the white connector and portions of Loutre River Trail and is roughly 2.5 miles long.

Meet at the lower parking lot near the shelter house. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, bring a bottle of water and wear insect repellent.

Hike time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
