Kids Fishing Explorer Day

Hey, kids! Come to the park and for a day of adventure! Kids Fishing Explorer Day is sponsored by Missouri State Parks and the Missouri Department of Conservation. 

Kids and family members can cast their lines into Lake Allaman. Fishing poles, bait and assistance will be provided. Parents are encouraged to attend. A fishing license is not required during the event.

This event will also feature a nature display, tree hike, Missouri nature quiz and drawings for prizes! Participants of all ages are eligible to earn a Missouri State Park Explorer Patch! All activates will take place at the open shelter house by the lake. This program is free and open to the public.
