Start the New Year with a First Day Hike at the park. Park staff will lead a guided hike through woodlands and glades on Bluestem Knoll Trail. Learn about these natural Missouri landscapes and how fire is used to manage them. Bluestem Knoll Trail is approximately 1 mile in length. Participants should meet at the trailhead, which is located one-half mile past the park office on state Road 134. The trail has a natural surface with moderate elevation changes, so be sure to wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. In the case of inclement weather, call 573-346-4516 for cancellation information.
