The Landing After Hours: Missouri German Farm Children of the Early 1900s

Stephana Landwehr will showcase family photographs and lead a program featuring the children of Theresa and Fred Landwehr, who lived on Little Boggs Creek Farm in Cole County, Missouri. Explore the daily lives of these typical early 20th century German farm children through stories, pictures and artifacts. What did they do? How did they communicate with each other and their animals? What were their joys and sorrows? Share and discuss your own experiences and memories. 

For 2019, the Missouri State Museum's "Museum After Hours" program held the first Wednesday of each month moves to Jefferson Landing State Historic Site at 100 Jefferson St.  Doors to the Lohman Building will open at 6 p.m. and the program will start at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.
