First Day Hike

Join us for a First Day Hike! The trail is 2 ½ miles and the hike should last 2.5 hours.

Meet at the visitor center. Hike leaders are from the Missouri River Bird Observatory. Most of the trail is a moderate, hardened grade. One section is a rough path in the woods.

Bring binoculars, water, snacks and wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. The hike is not suitable for strollers or children under five. Dogs must be on a leash. The hike will be canceled in the event of snow or ice covered roads.
