Row with a Ranger

9/2/2018 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

Row with a Ranger is an event that will allow people of all ages to experience the joy of kayaking at Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Missouri State Parks rangers will be hosting the event at the Ha Ha Tonka spring access parking lot. This course is not an instructional course but rather an informative easy-going trip. Experience is not required, and equipment will be provided to attendees at no charge. However, there will be limited space. This event is free, but registration is required. All slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they prefer, as long as they provide a kayak, life jacket and paddle.

Rangers will provide information on Ha Ha Tonka State Park and nearby attractions as well as information regarding Lake of the Ozarks State Park, which is located approximately 20 minutes from Ha Ha Tonka State Park. In the event of severe weather, the event may be postponed or canceled. For any questions regarding the event, please contact the Missouri State Parks rangers at Ha Ha Tonka State Park (573-346-2986) or Lake of the Ozarks State Park (573-348-2694).
