The Friends of Hawn Association, Alpine Shop and Hawn State Park are hosting this 10-mile guided, overnight backpacking hike on Whispering Pines Trail. To take part in this hike, you must attend a required Leave No Trace training at the Alpine Shop in Kirkwood on Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. This backpacking trip will teach the basics of Leave No Trace and is limited to 12 people.
