Pottery of the Past

6/30/2018 | Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park | Miami, MO

Pottery has been an important tool for many different cultures throughout history. The Missouria Indians used pottery for food storage, water transport, ceremonial purposes and more. Join us at the small shelter house to learn about the history and processes of making Native American pottery. Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own piece of pottery.
