  • 7 p.m. -  Camping Safety - Campground Amphitheater
    Join Washington State Park interpretive staff to learn about camping safety. 
Saturday
  • 4 p.m. - Petroglyph and Glade Tour – Petroglyph Site
    This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park's unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out onto the glade, where visitors will learn about life on this landscape. 
  • 6 p.m. -  Hiking Safety – Campground Amphitheater
    In celebration of the American Hiking Society's National Trails Day, enjoy this fun and informative program on how to stay safe while hiking.  Learn what to pack and how to prepare before you take on the next trail.
  • 8 p.m. – Night Hike – Campground Entrance
    This night hike will check out the evening sights and sounds of Washington State Park.  The hike will be approx. 0.6 mile.  Participants should wear proper clothing for the hike, bring a flashlight and consider insect repellent options.
Sunday
  • 9 a.m. – Nature Hour – Campground Showerhouse
    Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for a nature hour all about hiking and hiking safety in honor of National Trails Day weekend.
