Come enjoy the bounty of spring during the Mother’s Day “Wild Tea” Party. This event will be held at in the garden at the Ozark Chinquapin Nature Center.
Guests will sit to enjoy warm herbal teas, cool beverages and light finger foods made from wild plants native to our state. The woods are full of delicious and nutritious roots, flowers and greens. We will discuss how the people of the Ozarks have used these wild edible plants to feed their families and heal their sick.
This is a free event open to the public. For more information about the event, contact a park naturalist at the Ozark Chinquapin Nature Center at 417-847-3742.
